  • Export H.264 vs Apple ProRes: different video lengths?

    Hi,

I usually work in AE with motion graphic design for internet / digital use. In a recent project for a TV station (Europe) I had to export a 22s (25fps) commercial to Apple ProRes 422 (HD). To my surprise the video length became 22s 160ms, whereas with my usual exporting options to H.264 it was exactly 22.00s. How comes?

    Best,
    Konrad

Oh, so this is a bug. I’m glad this wasn’t a weird newbie question then, haha. Thank you very much for pointing that out!
