Hello, I am finalizing several clips at a time, for a feature film.
I want to be sure I have chosen the right quality, size, formats etc for each quicktime movie. I intend to put each segment back into final cut to make the complete film, have to do this because of space issue.
This is what I made so far, Dimensions 1280×720
    codecs integer ( little endian) H. 264
Is this correct or should I have used something else?
    Greg

Also, why does my external hardrive NOT except a quicktime movie and tells me it is not a movie file?

    Thanks

    Don’t use H264. Use Prores.
If you have edited H264, change the sequence codec to prores and set render in YUV; 8b or high precision.

How is your external HD formatted?
