Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy export fromats

    Hi

    I am currently in the process of exporting movies from final cut pro, but im not sure what format is going to give me the best result. i want it to be shown on tv through a standard dvd player. Does any one know what the best format is for this please?

    You need to use Compressor to make your video in MPEG-2 and DVD Studio Pro to author the DVD.

    Well, if you are going to create a DVD I think the best workflow is to export a FCP Quicktime reference movie. Import that file into Compressor and apply MPEG2 and AC3 audio settings to it. Then once Compressor spits out those files, bring them into DVD Studio Pro
