  • Export from CS4 Primere Pro cuts video short

I’m on a MACPro, 4 GIG of RAM, CS4, exporting from PP to Adobe Media Encoder. My video is 4:20 and in the export settings for AMC, all 4:20 is selected, but for some reason, my encoded video is always 3:08 long. Is there a setting somewhere I’m missing that is cutting my encoding to 3:08?

Have you tried selecting the IN and OUT of your timeline? That is one trick that might work.

Also you can try checking the handles of the export option covers the entire timeline.

And lastly, you can try Adobe Dynamic Link to Encore. This will bring your timeline into Encore, giving you the ability to see if indeed the entire timeline is being seen properly.

    good luck

Try deleting all your preview files completely. Reload the project and let it compile a new set for the sequence you are trying to export.

It could be that some files are not being accessed as they should and ME thinks they don’t exist.

Computers are only human aren’t they?
