  Export format question

  Can AVID Media Composer export to a Quicktime wrapped XDCAM HD422 1080i60 50Mb/s format? If so, does it work on both the Mac and PC version and does the codec get installed automatically or does he have to download it and install it separately?

  I need to provide an export suggest to some Avid editors. I’m not sure if they are on Mac or PC. Our house format is the above – so that would be ideal if Avid can do it.
