    Hello everyone,

I can’t seem to export Quicktime H.264 from my Davinci project. Before doing anything, I immediately get this error: “Exceed Resolve Max Output Resolution for H.264”

I am trying to export 4k UHD from my 30 minute short shot entirely on RED. I am running the latest Lite version of Davinci in Windows (not the beta release). It won’t even let me add the job to render queue before displaying that error. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Lite has some restrictions on export settings, so I suspect that is one of them. In fact, 1080 is supposed to be the most you can export from Lite, even if you are working from 4k footage.

Might be time to upgrade to the dongle.

That doesn’t make sense, because the Davinci website says that you can export 4k up to the UHD limit, so I should be able to export fine. I’m also getting this error message:

Failed to initialize RED Decoder with the configured number of decoders.

    Anyone else been getting this?
