  • Export each angle of an edited multi-clip edit?

Hi, I am transitioning to Premier 6 from FCP 7. I have a multi-clip edit that I am looking to export 3 versions from:

    1) an edited version (trimmed to cut out garbage) that switches angles
    2) the same edited version (trimmed) but export that version of only camera 1
    3) the same edited version (trimmed) but export that version of only camera 2

the result will be 3 files of the same length, 1 is a polished cut, the other two are basically iso feeds of the polished video.

In FCP 7, I was able to select all of the video in a given multi-clip edit, then right click, then change the active angle to camera 1 or two – this would give me the iso of each angle from the polished cut.

In Premier, if I have more than one clip within a multi-clip selected, I have no option to switch angles.

Anyone know how to achieve what I am trying to do? Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Why not select one clip that is switched to camera 1, alt drag to a new track and extend it front and back to the length of the show? Repeat for other camera.

    Hope that helps
