It seems like it should be a pretty easy task, but I can’t seem to export a de-interlaced still. I want one frame from minidv video to use on a DVD label. No matter what I try, I get an interlaced final project.

    Can anyone get me there?

    Thanks

Just stop on a frame with little or no motion.

    Export it.

I do this all the time.

(BTW, you can de-interlace any image in Photoshop using the “Video” filter.

If you don’t have Photoshop, you could throw a deinterlace filter on the clip first in the timeline.
