Export 360p videos with timecode for transcribing
Hello
I need to export a few videos with time code for transcribers to do their work. I creat timecode through adding an adjusment layer. However my machine is not that fast and I’m having a lot of trouble in not being able to finish the export due to the memory getting full and going down. I export in 360p to save time and all, but it’s working on and off and I have to export only 20 or 15 minutes duration clips. Any ideas how to make this work?
My machine is i5 processor 2.5 ghz 8GB ram. I used a friend’s machine which is a little better same processor and I still get the same hard time.
Also how I can export only the audio with the timecode and is this going to help saving memory and time?

In Media Encoder CC, under the export settings, there is an Effects Tab. Select the Effects Tab and scroll down through the options there you’ll find Timecode Overlay.

I assume that’s in premiere export settings as well. I can export using encoder anyway. One more question: would that be the clip timecode or the sequence timecode? Also how can I make that work for export audio only with no video?

Yes, it is in the Premiere CC export settings too. It will use the Sequence timecode if you are exporting from the timeline window. It will use the clip timecode if you are exporting from the Source window.
I do not know if audio export files such as .wav. or .aif carry the timecode information.
