Is there a way to use exponential scale to grow a mask? I’m trying to Roto a photo that apparently has been eased in and out on either end.

The only solution I can come up with is to use the graph editor to work with the speed.

You could paste the mask into a solid and scale up the solid, easing it. Use that solid as a track matte for the photo.

Now there’s an idea. I was on to the right path thinking I could cut and paste position keyframes into a solid and then paste them back. But realized this only works for a motion path.
