I am brand new to PI so forgive me if I don’t explain this right. I made an emitter by double clicking I believe on the window (after selecting which emitter I wanted in the library window). I didn’t know what I was doing so its just a single circular point that is emitting. Now that I have messed around with it a bit and got it how I want it, I found you can not make an emitter bigger like in Particular. Someone told me when you create the emitter, you can create a plane that it emits from…my question is : can I expand the one point emitter I have made into a plane? Or can I make a new plane and copy and past all the attributes from the one I got how I want onto it?

To change your point emitter into a area emitter (or anything else), right-click on the emitter in the preview window and select MAKE AREA (or any other options if you like).
