I’m having trouble getting the export “Using Compressor” option to work in FCP 5.0. I select a sequence to load directly into Compressor 2 from FCP 5.0 and I always get the message “File Error: A file of this name already exists.” Then I click on the error message and another message pops up: Selection contains no media.

Anyone know what the problem is? I’m running 10.3.9 on a G5 twin 2.0 system.

    Thanks!

I may be stating the obvious, but compressor will not allow identical names at destination folder. try a virgin desitination folder?

Shut off Norton Anti-Virus auto protect. Worked for me.
