Exactly what is “Conforming Media”
I’m editing a large project shot on FS100 and EX3, when I import the media into PPRo CC it’s taking a LONG to to go through the process of “conforming media” as well as writing some large files to disc. What is this process for exactly?

Hi Steve,
Basically, Premiere takes all audio and conforms it to a high-quality format and uses that behind the scenes. Should only do this the first time you import the clips, and not when re-opening the project later.
This brings up another point, over time these files can really build up and then you want to Clean the Media Cache.
