I shoot most of my sports footage in 60p. I drop the clips into a 30p timeline. If I want the clip at full speed, I change the speed to 200%. Recently, the 200% speed ramp has been making the footage play back in fast forward, so it couldnt actually be shooting in 60p, right?

    The video format is 1920/30p
    S&Q Motion 1280/60p

    what could my problem be?

If you shoot 60p and drop your footage in a 30p, FC discharge half of the frames and play the clip normal.
If you want to slow down your 60p without loosing quality, Conform (CinemaTools) your clip to 30p.
The clip will last double and will play at 30p. No rendering, but do this with a duplicate of the clip.
After you can not re-comform back to 60p.
