EX1 Zoom Stuttering
We recently received our EX1 back from Sony after noticing a back focus problem. They said they replaced the firewire board and updated the firmware as well. I went on a shoot recently and realized that our zoom was stuttering or wouldn’t work at all. I was trying to use the on-handle zoom with a slow setting, but anything under 10 wouldn’t zoom. I’ve also noticed it stuttering to the point of being completely unusable during shot transitions.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or know what we could do to solve this? I appreciate the help!

I was probably one of the first to note this issue over a year ago.
Send the camera back to Sony and insist they fix it. In my case they replaced the camera. Zooms smooth down to 2 now. 1 is bumpy though.
