Mine too, but on top. I just slapped some gaffers tape around it, but the top screw seems compromised.

I would definitely do something about it. Tape is a good fix in the field.

But I would either take it apart to see what is wearing out, or if you don’t feel comfortable doing this, take it to someone like your local dealer, and have them investigate/fix before you get a more serious problem. When your shooting schedule allows some down time. Some dealers will even give you loaners or arrange a rental while yours is in the shop.

My local dealer here in NH has been very supportive over the years, with loaners and quick turnaround from Sony service centers.

Well, I still have a few days prime support on that camera and so I contacted Sony this morning.
Just would have liked to know if somebody else had this same problem and tightened a screw somewhere.

We had the same problem with the flip-out LCD. The screws don’t come with any thread locker from the factory, but I noticed that the replacement screws come with red loctite applied.
