  EX1 – FCP – CS4 issues

  Hi,

  I am just starting out with animation after working with motion (all be it the basics) for a while and I am looking to buy Adobe After Effects CS4 Mac, but have a couple of technical questions.

  I edit using FCP and with an EX1 (XCAM footage – native gop) – I have heard there may be a problem using all three in conjunction as CS4 doesn’t support the codex. Could you help please?

  I have searched online, although have only found one forum which recommends converting to ProRes422 and importing into CS4.

  I wondered if someone might be able to help.
