  EX1 / EX1R EVF Status text seems wrong.

  I just bought an EX1 R

  The text in the status display on the flipout screen is is filling the screen from hard left to hard right.

  But in the EVF (The viewfinder) it’s as if the text displayed is in 4:3 while the picture is in 16:9.

  By this I mean, there is too much of a margin on both thr left and right where the text alignement should be.

  Shouldn’t the text be hard up to the verty very left and right of the display in the viewfinder?

  My aspect is correct and I can’t understand why the text margins are fine on the flipout LCD display but seem ‘squashed’ a little in the viewfinder.

  Is it just me or is this just how it is??
