EX Interpretation
hi
i’ve been working quite a bit recently using the sony ex1
i usually shoot in the EX 720p25 setting and capture the footage in that codec. i’ll cut in final cut in a prores timeline but then import the raw footage into after effects.
i’m interpreting the footage as either HDTV (Rec. 709) or SDTV Pal.
are there any suggestions of a more correct colour space?

i’ve been using the ex1 for over a year now in after effects and it hasn’t missed a beat
we’ve pulled great keys, grades have come up great… i haven’t had any problems at all
what i was asking was if there a correct interpretation. i wanted to make sure i was starting from the best point
