    EX 15:1 footage relinked to AMA volumr

    Hi Guys

    I have a project which was cut on Avid 3.1 and was shot on EX cam. The work flow used was…

    1 used clip browser to make MXF files
    2 MXF files imported to avid
    3 In avid the XDCAM EX files where transcoded to 15:1 and the XDCAM EX files deleted
    4 the MXF files from clip browser where also deleted

    We now have an avid that is 3.5 and thus we can use AMA. i wanted to know if it posibal to take the old project and conform it on the Avid3,5 machine without having to go back to clipbroweser to re export the mxf. I cant see any option to relink a transcoded file to an AMA volume.

    any advice much appricated

    I Should Also add that we are using PC, Media Composer and that we still have the Original BPAV folders for the footage. incase anything wasnt clear.
