EX-1 raw footage to Premiere timeline
Everyone:
I have 119 GB of unedited footage I need to get from an EX-1 to a Premiere timeline without converting or editing in any way. Is this possible?
I tried dragging the raw footage into a Premiere Pro CC 2014 timeline, but get an error that says “Error compiling movie” or something like that. (I just now tried it again and it is encoding, so I will update if it works.)Terry Barner

I use the import dialog in the project view. Import the folder containing the footage (don’t worry about all those subfolders). It will pop up a little error box indicating the various metadata files it can’t import, which is no big deal. The MP4 files will show up correctly.
