    Hello all,

Just wrapped from an event where we used an EVS XT2 and 2 Xfiles to stream 4 ProRes camera isos and a clean and dirty program feed, 3 feeds streamed to 2 drives for a total of 6 streams.

The external drives we used happened to be mac formated and were reformated in OSX to fat32. The Xfile op didn’t realize that the drives needed to be formated to NTFS on the Xfile in order to avoid the 4GB file size limit, so the Xfiles crashed when we hit this limit.

Long story short, we had to archive the first 40 minutes of the recording, leaving me with mxf wrapped Avid DNxHD files that I can’t really do anything with.

I have the Avid codecs. Any suggestions on how to deal with the mxf wrappers? From what I understand, the mxf wrapper EVS uses is proprietary, but I’m not 100% in that.

    Thank you for your time.
