Anyone every experience problems with a project on a PC that uses ProRes 422 files from EVS as a source? All of the EVS Files appear offline when you open project on a PC and then locks up when you try to Locate. Seems to work when you open the same project on a MAC. This only happens with files from EVS. ProRes files from any other source are not problematic.

    Hi Bill,

I have not seen this issue reported. A few questions:

    1. Can you open non EVS ProRes files fine on your PC?

    2. What version of Premiere Pro and EVS are you running?

    3. Where are the files located? Local? Shared Storage?

    4. System specs/3rd party hardware/software?

    Thanks,

I’ve has some pretty fussy ProRes media come my way lately as well…

Out of curiosity, is the media full raster (1920×1080) or non-square (1280×1080)?

I finally had to transcode the media I received as PPro would get particularly fussy when running it…black on the PGM panel instead of the image in pause…poor playback performance, etc…
