So I just installed Final Cut Studio. I opened Motion and start drawing objects and adding text and importing psd files and everything shows up black. The objects are all there but nothing showing up. Here’s a screenshot: https://cl.ly/2qh0

Any help would be fantastic. Thanks!

Currently, you’re only viewing the alpha channels of the objects you’re adding to the canvas. Try changing the view mode box from “Alpha” to “Color”. (It’s the one underneath the “File Browser” button near the top right of the screen).

Thanks. Unfortunately I’ve tried that already and switching between all those options and it still is all black. Any other thoughts?

copy and paste all of your layers and groups from that document to a new motion document. Looking at your screen-shot I can see that it is set to ALPHA. It must be set to Colour, please change this. Also make sure your image is RGB colour Mode.

Here’s the screenshot with the RGB psd file imported and it’s set to Color. Thanks so much for your help!
