Very interesting article and great insight about creating video for the web, (Youtube).

“Nothing really prepares you for the experience of suddenly having “an audience” on the Internet. The experience is different for every person, but I suspect the two major feelings are the same: there’s that initial dopamine rush of “Oh my God somebody likes me” followed by that creeping fear of “I better not f* this up.””

It was also interesting to read how they learned to work within the copyright and Youtube restrictions on content.

Fortunately, although they have moved on, their work remains available.

Every Frame a Painting is at the top of my list of must sees for anyone interested in the language of cinema. I’ll miss new essays but am glad for the rich library Tony and Taylor have left us. Great final essay on their process and makes total sense that keywording was a big part of how they found connections. Thanks for the link!
