Hello everyone. I am experimenting with VP15 and sometimes when I open Event Pan/Crop the presets are missing.
Other times they are there, but the animation keyframes are gone. Any ideas? Thank you.

Sounds like you accidentally selected Mask

Yes. Sometimes the presets only say “default” and the keyframes are gone on my saved presets. Thanks for your reply.

My keyframes disappeared in Vegas Pro 12, too! Even my client noticed it and was shocked.

Here’s an example of what I am talking about. I had created an animated zoom with keyframes. When I opened Event Pan/Crop the keyframes were gone and the image was displayed as a still image using the end of the zoom setting.
any idea what’s going on? I am in the process of moving to Vegas 15, so it may not be a problem.

Your Sync Timeline isn’t Locked, could be a factor?

    How do you create keyframes?
Turn on Sync Cursor option to sync it with timeline cursor.
Each time you change Pan/Crop settings, a new keyframe will be created automatically.

I have been doing it manually, then saving it. I will try the sych approach. Thanks for pointing that out guys!

Sync Cursor can also bring a lot of trouble (unwanted keyframes), so always check this option before changing Pan/Crop settings.

Thanks for the warning. I wish it would just save my manual keystrokes.
