Event Manager X and Mavericks
Posted by Steve Connor on October 23, 2013 at 11:13 amJust a tip for those of you who use Event Manager X, it may not work under Mavericks, I upgraded yesterday and it now won’t open even after a re-install

October 23, 2013 at 3:15 pmJust had a very prompt response from Philip Hodgetts, a reinstall and trashing the apps prefs in the library fixed it!

October 23, 2013 at 3:17 pmI had this issue the last time I upgraded Event Manager X and was given the following instructions from the AE folks.
Go to your Library/Application Support/Assisted Editing folder. There you will find 2 files. Event Manager x.plist and Event Manager X.yml delete them both and relaunch the app.
This of course may be a completely different issue related to Mavericks, but it might be worth a shot.

October 23, 2013 at 6:36 pmI didn’t know they updated it for Mavericks but they did https://assistedediting.intelligentassistance.com/downloads/Event%20Manager%20X.dmg
I get the feeling after messing with iMovie we aren’t going to be needing this much longer. But it’s been keeping me sane the past year and a half, very grateful for it.
