I want to edit out some audio from an event but retain the video. I use CTRL U to unlock the particular event and do the necessary edits and that all works fine. Problem is, when I later move to the start of this long project or to a point backwards along the timeline and, say, want to insert an event I normally use ‘Select Events to End’ and everything moves in sync and do the insert.
However, the ungrouped events don’t move in sync and this causes me all sorts of grief as it usually happens off screen and I don’t see what has happened until it’s too late.
Is there a way to ‘re-group’ or ‘re-lock’ events after editing so they will move in sync when I subsequently use ‘Select Events to End”?
Hope this makes sense and there is an easy fix. Thanks.

You can control and click on the events and hit the g key to group them together. Hope this helps. Danny Hays
