Event FX Window is half cut off,can’t expand it
My vegas was working just fine today,but then i turned off my computer and had to do some work – when i turned it back on and opened vegas,my Event FX windows looked like this

I reinstalled it and updated with a newer version but that didn’t seem to work… That bold font is everywhere arround random sites on the internet and on after effects too,so i’m thinking it’s a computer problem – I’m no expert tho,so i thought i should ask what the problem might be? So here i am.

Hmmm…
You could try the Factory Reset. I’ve used this in the past to good results.
Hold down Ctr+Shift then click on Vegas the way you would do normally. You WILL loose all your previous Preferences, because this does do a Factory Reset, but you may just shake loose a bad opening procedure. If this corrects it then all well and good, if not get back here.

It looks like your system graphics settings have changed – specifically the DPI or fonts. These could be due to a change of theme or video settings. Notice how the “Angle” and “Magnitude” labels are not in the standard dialog font?
Check in your Control Panel > Display > Advanced (not sure offhand where it is exactly under Vista/Win7), or try changing to a different theme (try the default if you are using something else).

I am having this problem still. I get bold font in some programs and my event FX view is cut off. NONE of the online solutions have fixed this problem. I dont get it

Had the same problem, what fixed it for me was replacing
“MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24” font value in registry from “SSERIFE.FON” to “SSERIFER.FON”
Can be done manually by navigating toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion Fonts
and changing it there
