Error Occurred While Creating Media File During Rendering – Possible Fix
I render large files (25 to 35 GB)
I started receiving the message (error occurred while creating media file) during the past few days.
I was able to correct this problem by transfering rendered video clips to another hard drive. My “C” drive was at @ 85% capacity before the date transfer and close to 50% after the transfer.
Rendering now works perfectly without error.

Yea, it’s important to understand that by default, Vegas uses your C: drive for temp files so it’s important to either have lots of free space on your C: drive or tell Vegas to use another drive with lots of free space for it’s temp files.
