    Error: .MOV Files

    When I try to import a .mov file, I get an error that says: “Script Alert!” at the top and then “Error: After Effects Error: File ‘Blood.mov’ is not a valid type for import”. I try the file in Quicktime and it works fine. Any ideas?

    Never seen this but it’s likely a CODEC issue. Try exporting out from QT into a CODEC that you normally use within AE.
