error message VO won’t let me add any narration all of a sudden

I do not and VO is suddenly not lwtting me record anything. : (

May 25, 2011 at 1:29 amI never marked in and out points in my audio tracks and narrated away for weeks no problem Till suddenly I couldnt at all it said I couldnt have more than 99 tracks (i did not have that many) So I trashed preferences…then after trashing preferences now I have this same problem…”no recording range set” any help appreciated now its back again to 99 tracks message …ugh

May 25, 2011 at 10:34 amHave you tried creating a new project and copying your sequence into it and trying the same thing there. It’s a bit of a long shot, but it might work if there’s some kind of corruption in your existing project (rare but it does happen very occasionally).

June 2, 2011 at 10:22 pmIt worked BUT now everything is so music less loud even tho it reads level 12 db i cant hardly hear anything and after burning a dvd it is the same after export : ( any ideas on this ALL my sound is now lower both narration and music tracks …

I find myself trashing preferences a lot in FCP but with AVID am unfamiliar , so this is extremely frustrating.
