Error message: An exception occured
When I try to open a saved file with a project I’ve been working on the message appears: ‘An error occured during the current operation. An Exception has occured’.
It only started doing this recently, it never used to and I can’t think of anything I might have changed.
Can anyone help?

Installed any new software? Increased RAM? Changed rendering threads? These are all candidates for failing/error.
You might have a corrupted file as well. Can you locate the .bak version of the file?Douglas Spotted Eagle

I just went back to the file to play it through again and continue working on it. It’s happened before on another file some months ago but on a different computer.
I’ve had trouble locating the .bak file, even though some saved files are easily found. Where’s the best place to look?

Search feature, then *.bak will turn them all up for you.
