    I’m on a Mac G5 10.4

I’m rendering a bunch of small projects. (there in a cue) I get the following error message for a couple of them:

After Effects error: opening movie — you do not have permission to open this file (-54). (44 :: 53)

Most of the projects render out fully anyhow, but some don’t. What does this message mean?
It says “opening movie”…there is no .mov in the project. I’m using Trapcode Form to create some effects for a 7 second comp using a solid.

    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks

you should check this site out it tells you what all the errors in after effects mean or at least most of them. Just scroll down the page till you find your error (44::53)

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. It mentions setting security guidelines for the file.

The AE project that i have has 80 comps that I’m rendering and a few of them get the message. Can security and or user access be set for individual comps within an AE document?

All the comps use a solid created in AE, so there are no outside files that have to be accessed that might have some user or security restrictions set for it.
