    Error importing WMV, FLV and MPEG2 files into an AMC 2.7.2

    Hi guys,

    I’m trying to import WMV, FLV and MPEG2 files into an AMC 2.7.2 but
    I’m receiving an error message saying:
    “The file format *.wmv/flv/mpeg2 is not supported for import.”
    The same happened when I tried to import an AVI with DIVX codec ( the
    file imported but a blank video was shown) .

    Is this a bug or avid products doesn’t support this kind of files ?
    Is there any workaround this ?

    For the most part these are all deliverable formats, and not usually suitable for editing. Avid doesn’t support importing them.
    You’ll need to convert them to format that Avid understands using another utility.
