Hi all — I’ve shot some footage on a Panasonic camera as AVCintra100. I imported it into Media Composer, added some color correction tweaks as per the client’s request, and am now passing on this footage to another editing team. I exported as same-as-source, so I ended up with AVCintra Quicktimes. However, the other editing team, using Premiere, says that they are getting an error. I’ve pointed them in the direction of the Avid quicktime codec package and the Apple pro codec package, but they say that it still is an issue. I’m assuming that the AVCintra quicktime codec is proprietary to Avid and that it only works if Media Composer is installed on the system? Is there another way I can export this footage same-as-source? Or should I encode to another format like Prores?

Transcode to DNxHD…export that. Premiere works fine with DnxHD Quicktimes.
