    Hi,

I am getting the following error message post render in Sony Vegas Pro v12:

“Error: Decoder appears to have frozen, corrupt audio file?”

I have checked the original video and it apears to be fine, my problem only seems to be evident after I have rendered in Sony Vegas Pro.

There is good audio throughout the original video, so does anyone have an idea as to what might be the issue?

My video is recorded as MPEG-2 TS, and is rendered to MP4

This is not something that has always been evident, so I am puzzled as to what might be causing the problem.

    My workflow is:

Panasonic HMC41 Pro Camera > Hauppauge HD PVR Capture Device > Recorded via Laptop > Video Stored on External Hard Drive > Original File Rendered using Sony Vegas Pro v12

I have Googled the error message as you might expect, and quite a number of people that report the same issue seem to ne using Vegas Pro, so I was wondering if that’s were the problem might lie? Any ideas?

    Regards,

    AlanF
