    Hoping you can help.

When I export a sequence I get the message “Adobe Media Encoder – Error Compiling Movie – Unknown error”

It’s a simple sequence and though the process of elimination it seems that the m4a music audio track that I bought from iTunes (I also tried .wav version with the same resulting error message).

I’ve tried exporting in different formats and compressions and keep getting the error message. When I remove the audio track – it exports fine. Any ideas?

Something funky about the codec on the audio clip perhaps?

Try converting it using Audition to another format/codec and see if using that version eliminates the issue. That’s what I would try, anyway.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.

Check your audio sequence setting… is it different than what your specs are on the audio file?
