I’m trying to render an AE composition with Adobe Media Encoder. It gets through the 1st pass alright, but on the 2nd on it fails and gives the error “Error compiling movie. Unknown error.”

This is wasting a colossal amount of time for me and I’d appreciate any help.

I was rendering at 1440p in a .webm codec.

If you render from the Ae render queue (to an intermediate format like ProRes or CineForm), and then bring that into AME for compression to .webm, does that work better?

It doesn’t appear I have either of those codecs.

What version of Ae are you running? What OS?
