    Does anyone have any idea why this keeps popping up?

    After Effects error: reading from file (784). ( 3 :: 122)

    Any help would be great! Or if you know where I could get help that would be great too.

    Thanks!

    This has been happening quite a bit this past week.
    I’ll export NTSC DV (3:2) 720 x 480 footage at 29.97fps from Final Cut Pro as a quicktime .mov file.
    Then import in to AE CS3 and drag it to create a comp with it’s settings. And it works great. No 3d, just pretty basic editing right now.

    Then the next day I try to open up the AE project and the errors keep popping up

    After effects error: reading from file (784) (3 :: 122)
    or After effects error : file cannot be imported –files of type “MooV are not supported.

    (which I have double checked and confirmed that I am exporting Self Contained .mov files.)

    The weirdest part about this whole thing is that the next day after I tried to open a project and it wouldn’t let me because of those errors. When I tried opening it the next day…IT WORKED. after I did nothing to it.

    But now it’s happening all over again, and I need to find answers because I am in a real crunch.

    Paul.

    by the way, thanks dave. you’ve been a big help in the past

    Ok, cool. I just tried all of that list. But now, when I try to open up my project it says:

    After Effects warning: Unable to import file ‘x.aep’ as a project.
