  Error 2048

  Sorry to be posting something that may have already been answered but I’ve searched and can’t seem to find the answer.

  I made a very large movie, 3840×720, using the h264 codec. 29fps.

  It is 2.39GB

  It plays on a mac but not a PC. When I try to play it on a PC I get this message

  error 2048 could not open filename.mov because it is not a file quicktime understands

  the computer that is running the video is running
  quicktime 7.6
  windows 7 home premium

  After some poking around I thought the 2gb limit could be a problem. So I made a version that was 1.57GB and it played.

  Is it possible to exceed the 2gb limit?
