Grown men shouldn’t really cry unless they have been kicked in the balls. I am receiving this error and I have a similar feeling. I have unistalled Vegas and reinstalled, 7e…still getting this error. Can someone please help me? I’m about to lose months work of work.

God I’m hoping someone can help me. My show is next Thursday and its an hours worth of mashups. Booked to do a show in front of 4000 folks…if I have lost this file I am going to freak.

[cladsco] “In Module ‘mcplug.dll’ at Address 0x33BB0000”

Looks like it’s having problems reading an MPEG2 file???

I guess. The thing is that the project is full of MPEG2 files. The project is a mashup with a ton of MPEG2 files. I can still open other projects with MPEG2 files…just not this one. I would love to try to remove whatever is on the end of this particular project…but I Vegas crashes almost instantly. How am I going to get around this?

Move the files, open the project “ignoring the missing files”, and then add them back one by one until you find the one it no longer likes.

Is there anything to tell what file is bad from the error message or log files? If so, maybe I can delete the file and then try to open the project.

Trying to think of ways around this.

I guess you could also start a new project and drag each file to the timeline one by one until you find the one it dies on.

I don’t know of an “opening log” that would tell you how far it got in the process and which file it was last trying to open.

I think your solution of moving the project file and then re-attaching the files is the best solution. Thanks for your help, I will get on this during my lunch break and let you know how it goes.
