erractic camera behaviour
hi all
i’m using after effects 6.5 and i’m working with a comp using the 3d camera. why does after effects add erratic camera moves to my key frames. i’ve tried doing a smooth move adjusting the z position of the camera but on the last couple of frames the camera does a quick tilt up/tilt down which kills the fluid movement. any ideas on how to make the camera behave itself?

Check the point of interest. Sometimes when the camera gets too close to the Point of Interest then a small change in position will result in a big change in orientation.
