Okay I have Sony Vegas Movie Maker the 80.00 version

I have some beautiful footage of scarlet macaws in Costa Rica flying over the rainforest.

I want to put this into a slow motion effect but not lose any of the sharpness of the image. I understand I use envelopes to do this. Which is great but how on earth do I use the envelopes in the first place?

thanks for your help as always!

Vegas Movie Studio doesn’t have the velocity envelope. You need the full version for that. You *can* hold down the CTRL key and resize the event to slow it down, though.

I have never seen the results of this before… when you do this is the result that the footage is as crisp as if it had not been created to show slow motion?

If I continue to need this feature I may have to consider purchasing the full version of Vegas

    thanks

Vegas does a very good job of slowing down video.
