    Hello!

I’m working on my first premiere pro project out of FCP 7.0. For some reason I think I have some kind of -3db pad in my timeline. It’s very strange. If I normalized a clip to -12db it will play back in the timeline at -15. If I double click that same clip and play it back in the Source monitor it plays back at -12 like it should. The only root of the problem I could think of is that some way I had the Track mixer open and accidentally nudged a setting to -3db. No such luck, everything is zeroed out like it should be. I know I could raise the master timeline setting +3db but would rather know the cause of the problem.

    Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

    Cheers!

    Jeff
