Entire CS4 suite crashing on Quit
It includes Photoshop (11.0), Illustrator (14.0) and AE (9.0.1.51). It doesn’t happen every single time, but enough to be annoying and it seems that no data is lost and everything is saved, but it’s strange none-the-less.
Anyone else having this problem? I am thinking perhaps a reinstall is in order.

I have the same problem. All of my CS4 apps crash when I quit them, either from the dock or a command-quit. It happens over 80% of the time. Using Leopard on Mac.

I tried to reinstall the entire suite and it didn’t help. Haven’t found any solutions yet, guess I’ll keep sending crash reports.

I installed the latest updates to the CS4 suite and am not experiencing the crash on quit anymore.

I am fully updated as well, at least I think I am.

i have the same issue with all of the programs except illustrator, the guys at adobe told me to change the ownership of my applications and preferences folders and apply the changes to the enclosed folder but both had correct ownership already, regardless i did it, the problem went away for a few days and came back. lately it is every single time that they crash.
