entering serial number constantly
I just upgraded to Final Cut Studio 2. And when I open any of the applications it asks me for the serial, I enter it and it’s fine. But once I close the program and open again, it asks me for the serial number again? Why does it keep make making me enter my serial??

Possibly because you haven’t registered. That would be my guess. Apple wants you to register online and its possible that answered their request when you installed by checking the later box… Now is later…

But that later notice does not need for you to re-enter the serial number. It will keep coming up until you submit though.
Check to see if you have a file call “Final Cut Studio System ID” (might be Final Cut Pro is you are using an earlier version of FCP )in
HD/Library/Application Support/ProApps

i fixed it, i deleted the Final Cut Studio System ID. Re-entered my serial when prompted and it’s fixed for all programs now
