    Hello
My name is Annette i’m trying to sync a sequence with an end board using final cut pro. When syncing the video image i’ve put the in point at the start of the video sequence the out point is where i can see the clapperboard close in the frame. When syncing the audio the in point is at the beginning of the sequence and the out point is where i hear the clapperboard come down. When i play the sequence it doesn’t seem to sync up properly. Can any one help me?

The IN points take priority over the OUT points when making an edit, so if your video and audio durations are different, they won’t be in sync properly if you need them to match on the OUT frame. What you need to do is delete the IN point on whichever of those tracks has the longer duration and then the edit will match on the OUT point (the computer will calculate the appropriate IN point for you).
