is there a way to let encore transcode from a qt ref file for normal m2v and to turn off the blu-ray transcode?

    i dont need blu-ray file.

in audio transcode setting there is a dont transcode choice. I dont see it on the properties menu transcode pulldown menus. How do i only have it trancscode dvd?

    hi Jeff,

    Thanks for your response.

i am using Encore DVD CS3 and the frame size through a QT Ref Avid DNX 220 encoded 1080x1920i 29.97. Encore reads Ref file fine other than i need to crop 6lines top and 6 lines bottom to get rid of Black on rt and lf frame (probably the difference of 720×486 / 720/480).

How do i turn off the blu-ray encodeding? I only need the mpeg2 for standard def ntsc dvd.

Resize your video in Avid to 720×480 before exporting. The frame size you are using will always be interpreted by Encore as Blu-Ray.
