    Encore Stalls loading Transcode settings

    Hi Folks

    Encore cs4 stalls when trying to launch the program….it gets to the loading transcode settings then just stays there….the only way out is to crash the system…..even end process wont kill the app.

    Any ideas…this is a clean install with Vista 64 SP2 and everything upto date regards drivers, Quick Time etc.
    System is Core i7 920 on DX58SO with 6GB of RAM and Nvidia Quadro FX1700.

    How long did you wait?

    Are you launching from the program icon or are you double-clicking a project file?

    Hi Jeff

    Thanks for the response…….launching for the start menu program icon and have waited as long as overnight….just locks everything up.

    This is a fresh installation of Production Premium CS4 with all updates applied.
